Front Runners New York has always marched the annual New York City Pride March along 5th Avenue every year. Held on the 4th Sunday in June (the day after the annual Pride Run), members meet in midtown and thereafter walk 4 miles down Fifth Avenue and finish at Christopher Street in Greenwich Village. Yes, members in the past have taken a break to shop on Fifth Avenue.
While marching, there is ample opportunity to socialize with other members, jog by the crowd clapping their hands, race short sprints along 5th Avenue (with a rainbow finish tape), and dance to the surrounding music. Every year, a diverse group of Front Runners participate in the Pride March.
Please check the calendar sometime in June to learn more details about this event.
